However, no one decided before the events of the movie to give the wishes back. Meanwhile, the only person in 1984 who doesn't end up with buyer's remorse is Minerva, and it doesn't appear she has budged on this, even as Diana pleads with her to give it up while they fight. As such, Minerva may still have superpowers, even if she isn't Cheetah. Therefore, this wish, and in turn her powers, may not have been affected by Lord's decision to give his power back. The first wish Minerva makes is the one that initially powered her up, and it is made on the Dreamstone before Lord bonds with it. While it's clear the wish she made on Lord has been undone, there's a chance she isn't out of the game yet.
Her final onscreen moment sees Minerva sitting on the ground, seemingly defeated, and she is back to her human form. This act undoes all the subsequent wishes he granted, whether the people who made these wishes wanted to or not. This includes Minerva's additional powers, as she wasn't willing to budge on this throughout the film however, this decision was no longer hers. While she never goes by the name Cheetah, she certainly looks a lot like one for the final fight, turning into an apex predator.įrom here, things get more unclear, especially once Lord recants his wish to be the Dreamstone. After Lord joins with the Dreamstone, he gives Minerva even greater power. First, it's just a boost in confidence, both professionally and personally, but it quickly becomes more than that as Minerva develops superpowers, including enhanced strength, speed and agility. Minerva suddenly finds her life changing.

When Diana meets Minerva, she's a quiet, unassuming person who doesn't believe in herself, but after spending time with Diana, this leads to Minerva wanting to be more like her co-worker.
